IN-HOUSE RICH MEDIA ADS: DISNEY VIDEO PLAYER AD

    Duration:
30 seconds, 15 seconds, or 10 seconds

    Digital Submissions (Preferred):
All digital video files must have a screen size of 640x480/720x480 or higher.
Preferred Format (SD)
- DV(25) video with uncompressed 48khz stereo audio at 16 or 24 bit sampling rate. 720x480 for SD (Anamorphic if 16x9)
HD Files:
- We can use most Quicktime compatible High Definition source provided as a digital file.
- Quicktime compatible HD codecs may include:
        Uncompressed 10 bit
        DVC Pro-HD
        HDV
        High-quality H.264/AAC (.mov, .mp4)
Acceptable QuickTime Files:
- DV(25) video with uncompressed 48khz stereo audio at 16 or 24 bit sampling rate. 720x480 for SD (Anamorphic if 16x9)
- 8 bit or 10bit Uncompressed Video with 48khz stereo audio at 16 or 24 bit sampling rate. 720x480 for SD (Anamorphic if 16x9)
- H.264 (mpeg 4 , part 10) video( 2500 kbps min.) with stereo AAC audio (128 kbps min.) at 44.1khz. Data rate must be 2200kbps minimum. (.mp4, .m4v, .mov)
Acceptable AVI Files:
- DV video with uncompressed 48khz stereo audio at 16 bit sampling rate.
- Uncompressed AVI with uncompressed stereo audio at 16 bits.
Acceptable Windows Media Files:
- Hi-Def WMV files may be accepted, minimum screen resolution is 640x480. Audio must be stereo 44.1khz. 2500 kbps bitrate min.
Examples of Unacceptable Files:
- Note: this is a partial list based on recent files that have been rejected.
- Quicktime video files using Sorenson, Cinepak, or H.263 codecs.
- Flash Video files (.flv)
- Real Media files of any kind (.ram, .rm)
- AVI files with MP3 audio
- DIVX or XVID files.
    Tape Submissions (Accepted):
Deliver accepted tape type (in order of preference):
  1. DigiBeta - Preferred
  2. Betacam SP
  3. digital DVCAM
  4. digital miniDV
  5. VHS - Least Preferred
Deliver accompanying meta data for each segment - Title, description, legal requirements, windowing date (if any), meta keywords and description
Note: All submissions must be clearly marked with the name of the client, product, date of production and the length of the video. If a tape includes more than one element, the submission should contain a log that indicates the time code for each element on the cassette.
Technical Specificatons:
  • Video Levels: All active video should be between 7.5 and 100 IRE units.
  • Audio Channels Assingments: Audio must be on channels 1 and 2 only. Audio content on Channel 3 or Channel 4 will not be processed. Audio may be either stereo or dual mono (with mono tracks on both Channel 1 and Channel 2.)

For ready to post video assets: please deliver 10 working days prior to the live date.

    Third Party Ad Serving Requirements:
Not Accepted - all ads must be locally served by Walt Disney Internet Group.

    Additional Details:
Disney Online reserves right of final approval on video submissions.
All video submission needs to be legally cleared for use online.
Include meta data for each segment.
Please provide an ISCII code if available prior to asset delivery.
